Year Ending 2012

On the possibility that the Mayans were right, I thought I'd write this now, just in case the world really does end next Friday!  Still it will avoid all that last minute Christmas shopping on Saturday, so there is a bright side.

Aside from our trips to Europe and Thailand, most of this year has been pretty uneventful.  Wiwat's work trundles on in the same numb but comfortable rut, as does Paul's.  One good thing is that Paul's golden handcuffs have more or less popped off, so he no longer has to stay just for the money.  Still deciding what to do -- watch this space.

All that remains is to wish everyone a Happy Solstice, and a Merry whatever. All the best for the year ahead.
